We're excited to share information about a special upcoming recycling event for Rustic Hills Acres residents. El Paso County is hosting a FREE Clean Sweep event for large televisions and tires on Friday, August 14, 2026. This is a wonderful opportunity to responsibly dispose of these specific items at no charge.

Please note that this event is exclusively for large televisions and tires only. Registration is required, and there are specific item and vehicle guidelines to review before signing up. You can find all the details, including accepted items, vehicle requirements, and the registration link HERE. Remember to check the event requirements carefully as they have changed for 2026.

We’re excited to share that KindHOA now has an official app for iPhone and iPad.

The app gives you the same community tools you already use online — pay dues, vote in polls, read announcements, submit maintenance requests, and more — plus native phone notifications that appear on your lock screen like any other app. When something important happens in our community, you’ll get a real push alert and can tap straight into the right screen.

How to get started

1. Download KindHOA from the Apple App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/kindhoa/id6776059395

2. Open the app, allow notifications when prompted, and sign in with the email address your board invited you with (Apple, Google, or passkey sign-in supported).

The app is free. Your account and community stay the same — this is just an easier way to stay connected on your phone.
